Hello ^_^

My name is Vivid N. Savitri and I am the trooper behind this little blog. I am a sufi, a wanderer and a (recovered) game addict with a thing for anything geeky that may or may not be relevant.

I’m one of those long-term foreign resident of Shanghai who’s been plowing the city for far too long, and currently poking around for a new adventure in the west coast of California.

I work as Creative Director at Trigger, and currently split my time between work, play and studying at Stanford University.

This site is (supposed to be) devoted to three things: design, games and wanderlust… oh plus some other assortment of random rants that happen to catch my fancy. On the aggregation side, expect to read anything from Interactive Design, Gaming, Mobile, UX, and Typography. I promise to filter the noise down to the most relevant topic. Because I know, sometimes the temptation to simply broadcast and overshare tends to get rather overwhelming.

On the whimsy side that serves as daily distractions, you would probably see some random things that I find interesting from photography, brilliant Infographic that worth checking out, to some wicked kick-ass anime.

I’m a recovered game addict (in denial), a geek in disguise, and almost surgically attached to my iPhone.

“The biggest gift from my childhood was Wanderlust. Travel, photography, star-gazing, super heroes, and Manga were soon became my creative muse. In a nation of workaholics, in a materialistic society, in a profession of obsessive compulsives, the ability to set everything aside, leave your surroundings and simply absorb and ‘be’ are the only way for me to keep from getting burn out on work, people and life in general. If design & games teases and spins my creative wheel, and photography introduces new colour palette, then travel definitely indulges my curiosity…”
